Driving to sophisticated discotheques in Chandigarh in sleek SUVs, decked head-to-toe in premium designer wear, the three youths who took part in the July 17 shootout in Zirakpur felt like silver-screen gangsters. That prompted him to embrace a life of crime.

District level athlete was shot by the police
