Shoaib Akhtar responded to Sahwag’s comments by asking about the previous style of Pakistani bowling. In a sensational claim, the former Indian opening hitter said “Shoaib knew he was shaking his elbow; he knew he was throwing too”.

Shoaib knew he was shaking his elbow, he knew he was ejaculating too. Why would the ICC ban it in another way? ‘” Sehwag said on the ‘House of Champions’ show.

Sehwag further claimed that he “was an easy pick” to deliver former Australian Brett Lee.

“Brett Lee’s hand came straight, so it was easy to catch the ball. But with Shoaib, you can never guess where the hand and the ball will come from,” added the 43-year-old former World Cup winning batsman.

In response, the 46-year-old former batsman felt that if Sehwag was more conscientious than the International Cricket Council (ICC), the former batsman “is entitled to his say”.

I would like to ask Sehwag not to pass on such comments. If Sehwag knows more than the ICC, he is entitled to his opinion. My statement to Sehwag would be a little different. I feel he was one of the greatest match winners India has ever produced. He was a team player and one of the greatest openers India has ever had. Right now, I’m at that point and age where I’m careful while putting forward my opinions. Speaking to Sportskeeda, Shoaib was quoted as saying, “I don’t want to pass a comment or insult to any player who has played at the national level.”

In the game’s longest version, the Rawalpindi Express took 178 wickets in 46 matches. In the ODIs, he collected 247 wickets after playing 163 matches.

On the other hand, Sehwag scored 8586 assists in Test Cricket with an average of 49.34. In ODIs, he collected 8,273 runs for an average of 35.05.
