With the IPL moving to Kolkata for the qualifiers and the inclement weather forecast for the city, the IPL has issued certain guidelines in case of intermittent games.
As the Gujarat Titans face the Rajasthan Royals in Qualifier 1 on Tuesday, Lucknow Super Giants will play the Royal Challengers Bangalore at the same venue the next day at Eliminator.
The IPL guidelines read: “The number of overruns in a play-off may be reduced, if necessary, so that each side has a batting opportunity of five.”
