Heroin worth over 200kg On Friday, the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) and Indian Coast Guard (ICG) officials raked in Rs.

The thrilling video, shared by news agency ANI, shows coastal guards chasing two boats ‘Prince’ and ‘Little Jesus’ amidst very rough seas. The boat was identified after several days of continuous search and monitoring under a joint operation code, “Operation Khojbein.” Both boats were blocked by ICG and DRI officials.

Operation “Khojbein” was launched after DRI officials gathered that two Indian boats are set to sail off the coast of Tamil Nadu and will receive heavy drugs somewhere in the Arabian Sea in the second / third week of May 2022.

“A thorough search of both boats was conducted at the Coast Guard District Center in Kochi, resulting in the seizure of 218 heroin packets of 1kg each. 1,526 crore, ”a ministry statement told news agency PTI.

This is the fourth major drug discovery by the DRI in the past month. Prior to that, DRI seized 205.6kg of heroin from commercially imported gypsum powder goods at Kandla Port on April 20, 2022, 396kg thread (heroin laced) and 62kg heroin air cargo complex at Ipavay Harbor, IGI Nov. 20, 2022 On 20222, fully estimated Rs. 2500 crores in international illicit market.
