The fourth schedule of the movie is taking place in Serumalai district, Dindegol district.

Director Vetrimaaran is busy shooting his upcoming movie Viduthalai. The film features Vijay Sethupati in the main role. The crime thriller funded by Elred Kumar Santhanam also features Suri, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Bhavani Sre and Prakash Raj among others in pivotal roles.

Much of the movie was actually shot in the Sathyamangalam Forest in Tamil Nadu. Suri, known for his comedic roles, plays a serious role in the film. He will appear as a ranger of the forest. For the first time, Vijay and Vetrimaran collaborated to produce a movie. Musician Ilaiyaraaja composed the music for this film.

A huge village was set up in Sirumalai near Dindigul for the purposes of filming the movie. The fourth schedule of the film will run for 50 consecutive days in the Serumalai region. In a recent tweet, producer Elred Kumar informed that the movie’s release date will be announced soon.

“50 days of the 4th shooting schedule for our #VIDUTHALAI film directed by Mr. Vitri Maaran is now in full swing in Sirumalai. Release date will be revealed soon,” Kumar tweeted.

Vijay Sethupathi recently shared some pictures from the sets of the movie to get a look at the challenging conditions in which the movie is being shot. About 400 crew members reside in the groups created for the film. The film crew also encountered wild animals while filming in the hills. As a precaution, a medical team with an ambulance was kept on standby.
