Udaipur murder: The four accused Riaz Attari, Ghaus Mohammad, Mohsin and Asif have been sent to NIA custody for ten days by an NIA court for further interrogation.

The four accused in the Kanhaiya Lal murder case were being escorted by the police to the NIA court in Jaipur when an angry mob attacked them. In a video shared by news agency ANI, the accused can be seen being assaulted by the mob as they are taken to a police van.

The NIA court remanded all the four accused, Riaz Attari, Ghaus Mohammad, Mohsin and Asif, to ten-day NIA custody for further questioning. The first two accused have beheaded Kanhaiya Lal while the other two have been arrested for conspiracy and conspiracy.

Investigation into Kanhaiya Lal’s murder has revealed international links to the killers. According to the investigation, the accused Ghaus Mohammad had visited Karachi in 2014 on the invitation of Dawat-e-Islami functionaries, where he stayed for 40 days. The other accused Riyaz Attari tried to infiltrate the minority wing of Rajasthan BJP and tried to get close to target BJP Minority Morcha member and BJP workers.

When the two killers were interrogated by the police, it was revealed that they had no remorse for the crime they had confessed to. Security agencies are probing branches of indoctrination by the Karachi-based DeI. Attari, a follower of Dawat leader Ilyas Attari Quadri, had created the knives used to kill Tyler.
