The Usos Become the Undisputed Tag Team Champions

WWE fans have been waiting for the outcome of the heated feud between The Usos and RK-Bro since WrestleMania 38. Two elite teams are finally battling each other in a high-stakes pay-per-view match. The episode also featured a fantastic showdown between former Intercontinental Champions where Shinsuke Nakamura faced off against Sami Zayn. It was also revealed on this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown that Sasha Banks and Naomi have been indefinitely suspended by WWE and the new women’s tag team champions will be crowned.

Here are the highlights from the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs Sami Zayn

Zane dominated the match at first, but was soon resisted by Nakamura. After an intense back-and-forth battle, Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Sami Zayn by pinning after nailing himself with Kinshasa.

Drew Gulak vs. Gunter

Gunther defeated Drew Gulak in this lopsided match. Once the match started, Gunther started landing some devastating pieces on Gulak.

At the end of this very short match, Gunther defeated Gulak by pinning after planting Gulak with a Tenryu Powerbomb.

Raquel Rodriguez vs Shutsi

In this match, Schutze had no match against the ruthless Raquel Rodriguez. Raquel Rodriguez took an easy win over Schutzi by pinning after landing with devastating one-handed power.

Xavier Woods vs. Butch

Woods attempted to assert himself early on and sent Butch to land before diving. But Butch began to dominate by systematically assaulting Woods. However, Woods held his own to score a second straight win over him with the Backwoods.

Winners Take Every Match: RK-Bro vs The Usos

In this much-anticipated match, The Usos went on to strike a blow with Randy Orton and Riddle to determine the undisputed tag team champions. Once the match started, the two teams engaged in an intense back-and-forth battle. Riddle even suffered a groin injury after being hit by a severe tug of war.

In the final stages of the match, Randy Orton exploded in the ring and began crushing both Jimmy and J.

While Riddle attempted a top-of-the-rope RKO, Roman Reigns appeared out of nowhere and helped Jey avoid the move. Thus, Jey Uso fired a rope sprinkler to secure the win. The Usos cemented WWE’s supremacy over The Bloodline by uniting the Raw and SmackDown tag team titles.
