TBSE Madhyamik, Higher Secondary Results 2022: No merit list this year, results unbelievably upgraded

TBSE 10th & 12th Result 2022: The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) today announced the results of the Madhyamek (TSC) and Senior Secondary (+2 levels) exams with a pass rate of 86.18 percent in the Board’s Class 10 exam and 94.46 percent in the Senior Secondary exams. When the results were announced at TBSE Headquarters in Gorkhabasti here this afternoon, TBSE President Dr. Bhabatosh Saha informed that the results were announced based on the cumulative results of the first and second semester exams held separately due to the prevailing COVID situation.

The results are available on the official TBSE website (tbresults.tripura.gov.in) and a host of other websites. “This is the first year of the examination after the introduction of the NCERT syllabus in 2019-2020 in Al-Najm schools. Dr. Saha said Madiamik’s results had a pass rate of 86.18 per cent and the Senior Secondary results showed a pass rate of 94.46 per cent.

Board Secretary Dr Dollal Day said the board’s results have been so good this year, students have upgraded their results incredibly from all previous years except for 2021, when exams weren’t taken due to the pandemic situation.

Second term examinations for Madiamic exams started from 18th April and continued until 6th May while the second term examinations for upper secondary stage started on 5th May and continued until 1st June. The first semester exams were held in December of last year.

The State Board of Education has not announced any VIP merit list this year in line with the tradition of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

According to council officials, two sets of question papers were used on most of the topics. Two stages of Mathematics paper – Basic and Standard were submitted in this year’s Madhyamik Exam, while five vocational subjects were submitted for the 10th Standard Board Examination this year – Solanaceous Crops, Animal Husbandry, IT-ITES and Retail.

In both the Madhyamik and High Secondary exams, female candidates showed up with their board results in greater numbers than boys. The Head of TBSE informed that the mark sheets will be made available within the following week and a window of 5 days will be provided for the review of applications.

In the schools under the Tripura Autonomous Tribal District Council (TTAADC), 82.36 per cent of the candidates passed the Madhyamek stage while 95.43 per cent passed the Senior Secondary stage. On the way forward, TBSE Secretary Dr Day informed that the State Board of Education will follow the CBSE syllabus and syllabus for all subjects next year, while some subjects not available under CBSE will be dealt with by state experts.
