“The first match, so we want to play freely. We have a good lineup of bowling for later, so I think they’ll do the job for us,” Harmanpreet said.
Harmanpreet seemed very confident in the power of her bowling offensive and thought the court would be full of running.
She added, “The preparations were great, we had a great time. It’s time for delivery now. We have a very good bowling team and I’m optimistic about that. It looks like a good batting track. We are looking for a good aggregate and if we hit our potential we can get it.”
On the other hand, Mandana said she was looking forward to the field first anyway.
“…I am not really upset about losing the draw. Although you want to give enough chances to the players, we only have two games in the league and then the final. So we will try to pick the best eleven possible,” Mandana said.
The Supernova will be back in action tomorrow afternoon when they play the game against Velocity at the same venue. The third game between Velocity and Trailblazers will take place on Thursday after a one-day gap.
The final will take place on Saturday. All four matches will be played in Pune.
