Congress leader Subodh Kant Sahai on Monday raised a controversy over his party’s nationwide agitation over the recent announcement of a firefighting project and the Directorate of Enforcement in the National Herald case.
Addressing the party’s Satyagraha program in Jantar Mantar in Delhi, senior Congress leader Narendra Modi said that “if Hitler follows his path, his death will die.”
Talking about the BJP and Modi’s dictatorial lines, he said, “I think Prime Minister Modi (Adolf) has gone beyond everything Hitler has done. Hitler also founded an organization called Khaki. If Modi walks the path of Hitler, he will surrender to Hitler’s death. Remember this Modi

Later, Sahay said that the statement refers to a commonly used slogan. “Listen to Narendra Modi, he too should raise the slogan. It’s a slogan – Joe Hitler Ki Chale Challega, Wo Hitler Ki Mouth Marega. Ask them what path they are taking, ”he told news agency ANI.
Sahay was a former Union Minister and represented Ranchi constituency of Jharkhand. He had served as Union Tourism Minister in the UPA-II government until October 2012. When his name came up in the coal scam, then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh asked him to resign.
