Actors Sonali Bendre and Jaideep Ahlawat danced their old song Humma Humma at the success of their latest series Broken News. Taking to Instagram, Jaideep posted a clip in which the duo is grouping for the song Bombay (1995). The original song features Sonali and choreographer-actor Nagendra Prasad. In the clip, the duo appears alongside other cast and crew members of Broken News. Sonali and Jaideep stepped side by side on the dance floor, while others could see themselves enjoying themselves. For the event, Sonali wore a purple dress and paired it with heels. Jaideep opted for a green shirt, black pants and boots. The video ended with actor Tarak Raina giving a glance at the camera.
Jaideep captioned the post, “For those who haven’t seen my dance (see-Evil Monkey Emojis) and it’s not one of the lucky ones with the original ‘Humma Girl’ (red-heart emojis). World to dance with her !!!! ” He tagged the Broken News team.
Actress Shreya Pilgaonkar responded to the post saying, “I can’t believe I missed it.” Jaideep replied, “… yes … you did.” Shreya Mehta wrote, “I have another!” Actress Archana Puran Singh said, “Hahahahaha. Jatdekadar dancing. Big bang (electronic show. Very good)!” “Madam,” he replied. Rohit Bose said, “Bro ye wala sid kabhi dikhaya kyun nahi (bro, why didn’t you show this side) !!” Awesome! Really! “
Before that, Taruk shared several photos on Instagram with Sonali, Jaideep and other cast members of the show. In one picture, she is seen posing with Sonali and Jaideep in another film. Taruk even dropped a photo of the entire team. He wrote, “We have broken the news! God bless this team. #Thebrokennews.”
Broken News, released in June on Zee5, includes Sonali, Jaideep, Shriya and Taruk among others. The show follows the story of two rival Mumbai-based news channels – Awaaz Bharati (independent, ethical news channel) and Josh 24/7 News (which offers sensitive and aggressive journalism). Broken News is directed by Vinay Vaikul.
