Mumbai: The Mumbai Crime Branch team has arrived at Wadhwa in Palghar to investigate the threatening letter issued to Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, seeking information about three suspects who have been staying in Palghar from Jalor, Rajasthan.

Balghar Saheb Patil, the new Superintendent of Police (SP) of Palghar, said it was a clever operation of the crime branch and that more details were still being covered.

Recently, Lawrence Bishnoi’s accomplice Vikram Barad, accused of the assassination of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, delivered a threatening letter to actor Salman Khan’s father and renowned screenwriter Salim Khan.

According to Mumbai Crime Branch sources, the suspect has been identified on a CCTV camera near the actor’s residence. Though the identity of the suspect has not yet been revealed, he may be the man who put out a threatening letter to the actor on June 5.
