REET 2022 Last Date to Register Not Today, Deadline Extended Yet Again

The Rajasthan State Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) earlier announced that it will finalize the application process for the Rajasthan Teachers Eligibility Examination (REET) 2022 today, May 20, however, the application deadline has been extended again. Now, candidates can apply until May 23 for the Teacher Recruitment Exam.

The application deadline was earlier set on May 18 but was later pushed back to May 20 by RBSE which has now been extended again. Candidates who have submitted their challan application fee but have not completed their registration can do so online by today at reetbser2022.in before midnight.

A two-day window for corrections to the REET 2022 application form will now open on May 23. In the event of errors in personal and academic details, applicants can log into their accounts on the REET 2022 registration portal and make adjustments before midnight on May 25. REET 2022 will be held on July 23 and 24 for both Levels 1 and 2. Acceptance cards for candidates will be made available online on July 14.

REET 2022: How to Apply

Step 1: Log in to the RBSE REET 2022 official portal

Step 2: Click the Apply Online button available on the homepage

Step 3: Create a new registration by submitting the required personal and contact details

Step 4: Log in to your account and fill out the application form

Step 5: Upload the required documents and pay the application fee before finally submitting the form

Step 6: Save the declaration

Candidates who choose either Paper 1 or 2 will have to pay an application fee of Rs 550. Those who wish to choose both cards will have to pay 750 rupees. Candidates who registered for REET 2021 do not need to pay any registration fee if they want to appear this year.

REET 2022: Exam Form

REET 2022 consists of two papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2. Each contains 150 questions marked with one mark. The paper has negative marks, unlike other similar exams. Candidates aiming for teaching positions for classes 1 to 5 need to scan Paper 1 of the REET. It is divided into five sections – Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1, Language 2, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies.

To be eligible for government teaching positions for grades 6-8 in Rajasthan, the candidate must scan Paper 2 of REET 2022. It consists of sections on Child Development and Teaching Methods, Language 1, Language 2, Mathematics and Science, and Social Studies. From the last two sections of the second paper, candidates have to choose one, depending on their specialty and choice.
