With a back-to-back win, RCB had the momentum but lost it after a huge 54-run defeat to the Punjab Kings in their last match in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Kohli looked good in most of his brief innings, which he has not seen in any matches this season. It was a bizarre catch that ended their stay in the middle and therefore could prompt him to go out for batting on Thursday.
Skipper Faf du Plessis, Mahipal Lomor and Dinesh Karthik are also looking to play a big shot in the last few matches after their bats have been silenced.
Glenn Maxwell and Rajat Patidar were getting starters but failed to turn them into big scores.
On the bowling front, Harshal Patel and Vanidu Hassaranga are great for RCB. In fact, when all the other bowlers were bowled out by the Punjab batsmen in their last match, they both bowled decent spells and took four and two wickets respectively in the process.
