The graffiti on Khalistan is painted on the wall of the official residence of the District and Sessions Judge of Faridkot in the heart of the city on Saturday. The flag of Khalistan is erected at gate number three of the Faridkot court complex.
The slogan ‘Khalistan Jindabad’ is inscribed on the wall just a few meters away from the front gate where security is deployed. Security guards immediately removed the flag as police painted the wall of the Sessions Judge’s residence.
Gurupatwant Singh Pannun, general counsel and founder of the banned Khalistan Organization of Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), released a video on social media that was filmed and installed by pro-Khalistan slogans on the session judge’s residence. Khalistan flag at the court complex.
In CCTV footage of the court complex, a man was seen carrying a Khalistan flag at the entrance at 2:46 am on Saturday.
Faridkot senior police officer (SSP) Avneet Kaur Sidhu said, “A video of SFJ activist Pannun has come to light and slogans are written on the wall. We have filed a case and alerted all teams in checkpoints. We are also reviewing CCTV footage of the area to identify the individuals behind it. The investigation is in the process. ”
It seems that this is the job of people who want to disturb the peace in Punjab. SSP said that the police are investigating from all angles.
The police have registered a case under Section 3 of the Property Deformation Act at Faridkot city police station.
