Prabhas, who became a household name after appearing in the blockbuster Baahubali franchise, is not as excited to join OTT as many actors have done in recent years. The actor said he would like to wait at least a few years before exploring the OTT space.
He told the Delhi Times, “Maybe it is better to release some films on OTT. I think it is a safer decision if the filmmakers feel that the audience wants to watch it at home rather than see it in the theater. Currently, all my films are big-screen releases.”
The actor said, “Maybe in the future, I can think about it (exploring the OTT space). I know we all have to evolve, but for three-four years still, I’m not thinking about the OTT space. I love the theater and the experience that comes with it.”
Prabhas was last seen in Radhey Shyam, a period romantic drama film starring Pooja Hegde. He will be appearing in the next legendary drama Adipurusha, which also stars Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon.
