Along with him, Maninderjit Singh, an accomplice of Ranjodh, a resident of Amritsar, who was visiting Harjit’s office to repair the property, and Saurav Sharma, a resident of Vishnu city in Gohana, who were part of the robbery, were arrested by the police.
The arrested are Arya, Mahipal Singh, Sunny Jaglan and Abhay Singh, all residents of Panipat, Haryana.
Mohali Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Vivek Sheel Soni said that the four accused had accompanied Maninderjit on June 10 to rob a property dealer.
While Maninderjit, Sunny and Abhay rammed into the property dealer’s office, Arya and Mahipal waited outside the car.
After the robbery at around 11am, the accused fired two shots at a vegetable seller and managed to catch one of them.
