PCS (Pre)-2022 today: UPPSC to conduct exam in 28 districts for over 6 lakh registered candidates

UPPSC Secretary Jagdish has informed that the Combined State / Preliminary Service Examination -2022, commonly referred to as PCS (Eastern) -2022, will be held on Sunday at 1,303 centers in the state.

UPPSC has set up these test centers in 28 districts of the state. There are about 350 posts on offer, including SDM 39, Deputy SP 93 and BDO 36. He informed that a total of 6,03,536 candidates registered to attend the examination.

However, the UPPSC Secretary has made it clear that the total number of vacancies to be filled by this examination may change and that the vacancies received by the Commission will be filled in by the recruitment test before the results are announced.

PCS (East) -2022 is conducted in two periods: 9.30 am to 11.30 am and 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm.

Agra, Ghazipur, Jyotibafule City, Maharajganj, Mainpuri, Muzaffarnagar, Saharanpur, Shahjahanpur, Prayagraj, Ajangarh, Bareilly, Gorakhpur, Ayodhya, Ghaziabad, Jaunpur, Zhansihan Varanasi, Sitapur, Mirzapur, Mathura, Deoria and Mau along with Barabanki, Meerut, Moradabad, Roy Bareilly.

UPSC Exam Controller Arvind Kumar Mishra made it clear that applicants will be admitted to the examination center 30 minutes before the start of the exam and admission will be closed 10 minutes before the examination begins. After that, no candidates will be allowed to enter the examination center, he said.
