PM Modi will address some key events during his Gujarat visit, which comes a few days after the Quad Summit earlier this week.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch a two-day visit to his home state of Gujarat on Saturday, where he will attend events in Rajkot and Gandhinagar. His two-day schedule begins with a visit to the Multispeciality Hospital in Rajkot, according to a statement from his office. “I will be in Gujarat today where I will be attending events in Rajkot and Gandhinagar. These programs cover key areas such as health care, cooperative and farmer welfare, ”the Prime Minister said in a tweet Saturday morning. “At 10:30 am, I visit the Matushree KDP Multispeciality Hospital, which plays an important role in addressing the health needs of Saurashtra (sic) people,” he said.

Prime Minister Modi tweeted that Gujarat’s co-operative sector has played a big role in the progress of the state:

More than 7,000 representatives from various cooperatives in the state will participate in the program, the PMO’s office said.

On Saturday morning, after a visit to the newly built hospital, PM Modi is likely to address the program, which is expected to reach the Patidar community, which is around 12-14 per cent of the state’s population.

We are aiming to bring nearly three lakh people to this event. Mr Patel, a service society official, told HT that this may be one of the biggest meetings any political leader has ever addressed.

Modi has been Gujarat Chief Minister for three terms. He often recalls the days when he was CM of Gujarat when talking about his political and administrative experience. When visiting his home state, he frequently visits his mother.

The state is set to vote at the end of this year for the next government.
