Panchkula-based realtor alleges death threat call from Goldy Brar gang

The complainant wrote to the Panchkula Police Commissioner that he had received a phone call from the international number on WhatsApp on June 10; Kala Singh, of the “Goldie Gang”, said the caller had received money to kill him

The Sector 6-based property dealer alleges that he received a number of murder threat calls from the Goldie Brar gang.

Police have registered a criminal threat case and are investigating.

The complainant wrote to the police commissioner that he had received a phone call from an international number on WhatsApp on June 10. Kala Singh, of the “Goldie Gang”, said the caller had received money to kill him.

The complainant immediately cut the call, followed by four more calls, which he did not answer.

Two minutes later, he received another phone call from an Indian number. The caller, realizing that he was the person who first called, threw abuses and threatened dire consequences.

On the complaint, police registered a case under Section 506 (Criminal Threat) of Indian Penal Code at Sector 7 Police Station on Friday night. ACP Aman Kumar seems to have blurted out the possibility of Brar being involved. But he had begun an investigation.
