Akhanda, the star of Nandamuri Balakrishna, was released last year on December 2, but the frenzy surrounding him continues. Akhanda has completed 175 days at the Ramakrishna Theater in Chilakaluripeta in Andhra Pradesh.
According to reports, theater owners wanted to celebrate the occasion in private. Balakrishna is expected to attend the ceremony. Balayya fans are delighted with this achievement. Many say those days are gone when movies were shown for 50 or 100 days in theaters. Fans are proud of the fact that Balayya proved this idea wrong.
In some theaters, Akhanda completed 100 days in cinemas.
A high-voltage flick, Akhanda was appreciated by audiences and critics alike. Akhanda told the story of a fierce devotee of Lord Shiva, who fights against all evil. Boyapati Srinu wrote the story and directed this movie. Mr. Rathnam has written dialogues for Akhanda. Pragya Jaiswal, Jajapathi Babu, Mika Srikanth, Shivakarthik and others were there in Akhanda except for Balakrishna.
Funded by Dwarka Creations, Akhanda was launched in Telugu and Tamil. Akhanda is Balakrishna’s third film with Boyapati. The first two films are Simha and Legend. Both films were criticized by some but applauded. Balakrishna received a CineMAA Award in the Best Actor category for Simha. Balayya received a Nandi Award for Legend. Both films are still favorites of Balayya fans for their great sequences.
After delighting fans with his huge commercial hit Akhanda, Balakrishna is working on an untitled movie written and directed by Anil Ravipudi. This movie is funded by Shine Screens.
Apart from this movie, Balakrishna is also working on the NBK107 movie written by Sai Madhav Burra. Gopichand Malineni directed NBK 107. Shruti Hassan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Lal and Dunya Vijay are working on this film. This film was funded by Mythri Movie Makers. NBK 107 was also promoted to be a group artist.
