Pune Police sent several teams to Gujarat and Rajasthan last week before Jadhav’s arrest on Sunday.

PunePune Police has arrested a suspect in the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala from Gujarat, a police official said. Santosh Jadhav had been in hiding for months in the 2021 murder in Pune. Last week, Punjab police named Jadhav as one of the singer’s suspects.

Additional Director General (Law and Order) Kulawant Kumar Sarangal declined to share more details about the case, saying it would hold a press conference at 10 am on Monday.

Last week, Pune police arrested Jadhav’s aide Saurabh Makkal, who is also a suspect in Musevala’s murder. Separate teams of Punjab police and Mumbai police were interrogated.

Mahakal was questioned by Mumbai police over the alleged threatening letter to Bollywood scriptwriter Salim Khan and his son Salman Khan.
