The 27-year-old has denied all charges, including seven counts of rape, at Chester Crown Court. The attacks allegedly occurred in his home between October 2020 and August 2021.

Mendy’s other defendant, Luis Saha Matori, 40, also pleaded not guilty to 12 counts of the attacks. The trial date has been set for July 25.
