Mahindra Scorpio-N Unveiled, to Launch in India on June 27 – All Details Here

The new Mahindra Scorpio is finally here after being seen in auditions a few times. And this time it’s official. Mahindra has announced a new brand name for Scorpio as well – Mahindra Scorpio-N. The SUV, codenamed Project Z101, will be launched in India on June 27, 2022. However, the current generation of Scorpio will continue to be sold and will be renamed the Mahindra Scorpio Classic.

The all-new Mahindra Scorpio-N will compete in a higher bracket than the current Scorpio. It will now compete as a D-Class SUV and according to Mahindra, it has been primarily designed to meet the aspirations of young and tech savvy customers who are looking for a full-size SUV. Mahindra says it will come with a modern interior, but as with all new cars, expect Mahindra to tease the Scorpio’s interior, infotainment system, drivetrain options, etc. about every week before it launches at the end of June.

What has now been confirmed is that the Scorpio-N will come with petrol and diesel engine options with a choice of manual and automatic transmissions and will have a 4×4 variant as well.

Mahindra Scorpio-N will be manufactured at the Mahindra Manufacturing Plant in Chakan.
