Ketki Dave returned to work just a day after husband Rasik Dave’s death

Rasik Dave and Ketki Dave were married for almost 40 years until his death on July 29. Ketki returned to work on July 30.

Actor Rasik Dave, known for appearing in Hindi films and shows, passed away on July 29 after prolonged illness. Just a day after his death, his wife, veteran actor Ketki Dave, returned to work. Confirming this in an interview, he said that he likes to keep his personal life away from his work. Ketki and Rasik have been married for almost 40 years. Both were seen together in Nach Baliye in 2006. They have two children – daughter Riddhi Dave, who is also an actor, and son Abhishek Dave.

In an interview with ETimes, Ketki confirmed that she returned to work on July 30, a day after Rasik’s death, and said, “I don’t want people to be a part of my grief. One has to include people in one’s happiness. I immediately get into the role and Ketki Dave’s personal life doesn’t come into the role. The play was in Surat yesterday. I went there too.”

He said, “I reported for work even when I was unwell. The project doesn’t just involve me. It involves the whole team. The programs are booked in advance and I don’t want anyone to suffer because of me.

Rasik, who was suffering from kidney disease for the last four years, breathed his last on Friday evening, his mother-in-law and veteran actress Sarita Joshi said. Sarita reveals that Rasik has weakness, high blood pressure, kidney problems and is on dialysis.

Ketki rose to fame after essaying the role of Daksha in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. He has appeared in films like Amdani Attanni Kharcha Rupiah, Mani Hai Toh Honey Hai and Kal Ho Naa Ho.
