Karnataka CM to participate in BJP National Executive meet in Hyderabad | Bengaluru

Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai left for Hyderabad on Saturday to attend the two-day BJP National Executive meeting to be held from July 2 to 3.

Talking to the media before leaving Bangalore for Hyderabad, Bommai said he will meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP National President JP Nadda.

Top BJP leaders will attend the national executive meeting.

Ahead of the two-day Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national executive meeting, JP Nadda inaugurated the party’s national office-bearers meeting at the International Convention Center in Hyderabad on Saturday.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has left for Hyderabad to attend the National Executive Meeting.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Hyderabad today to attend the meeting.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Chief Ministers of 19 states and other senior BJP leaders at Hyderabad International Convention Center will attend the meeting.

Prime Minister Modi is expected to address the National Executive on Sunday. In his speech, the Prime Minister is expected to give a roadmap for the party in the coming days, especially when it looks at assembly elections in big states like Gujarat.

Meetings of National General Secretaries and National Office-bearers followed by a National Executive meeting will be held on July 2, followed by a public meeting at the Parade Ground with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address on July 3.

Photo exhibition of senior leaders and national executive meeting and important programs will be held today at 6 pm.

This is the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic that the meeting is being held with the full participation of BJP national executive members.

The last meeting held in November 2021 was held in a hybrid manner in which the leaders were physically and virtually present.

The entire city of Hyderabad is dressed in saffron with BJP flags and banners ahead of the party’s mega show. The posters depict the achievement of the central government. Large cutouts and banners of BJP leaders are seen in every nook and cranny of the city.

Earlier on Friday, Nadda held a meeting of party general secretaries in Hyderabad. The BJP chief held a mega roadshow after his arrival in Hyderabad.

The BJP’s initiative comes at a time when Telangana is heading for assembly elections in 2023 and the BJP is looking at huge prospects of toppling the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi government.

Elaborate security arrangements have been made by Hyderabad city police and state government departments ahead of Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Hyderabad.
