Pictures and videos of the ceremony, which were shared by their friends on their Instagram accounts, revealed the details of the ceremony. Kanika walked into the hallway under ‘Phoolon ki Chadar’ to sing Mohammed Rafi’s classic song Tere Mere Sapne Ab Ek Rang Hay. The video of the Vermala ceremony shows Gautam jokingly leaning back before bowing, so Kanika put on a garland for him.

Manmeet Singh, the singer of the Meat Bros. duo who also collaborated with Kanika on several songs including Baby Doll, was also present at the wedding. Manmeet took to her Instagram account to share a picture of Pose posing with the bride and groom. He captioned, “May your next journey be as beautiful as the two of you .. newly married (red-heart emoji).”

Kanika had previously shared pictures of the wedding ceremony on her Instagram account, confessing her love for Gautam in the caption. He wrote, “G (red heart emoji) I love you so much!”

Kanika is a single mother of three children: Ayana, Samara and Yuvraj. They got married at 18 and moved to London. A few years later, she divorced and raised her three children by herself. She is based in Lucknow and frequently visits her parents in India. She caught the spotlight with Dr Juice in 2012 with the single titled Jugni G, and later rose to fame in 2014 with Baby Doll.
