Punjab Kings captain Mayank Agarwal opened up the change in his batting position after a decisive 8-wicket win over the Gujarat Titans on Tuesday. Punjabs made massive changes to their fighting lineup in the showdown against Gujarat as Mayank, who opened the innings, switched to the middle ranking and Johnny Bairstow came out as the opener alongside Shekhar Dhawan.
Mayank didn’t get a chance to hit as Livingston came down to the racket at 4th and scored 30 of just 10 balls to take his team to the victory streak alongside Dhawan.
The PBKS captain wants his team to continue the momentum and score some back-to-back wins in the upcoming matches.

“We are trying to get the best out of Johnny. He has done well in opening innings and I said I’m going to fourth and he can express himself.”

Mayank also praised his bowling unit for holding In-Form Gujarat below par with a wicket early in the powerplay.
