Imran calls Modi govt fascist as NIA seeks death penalty for Yasin Malik

Kashmiri separatist Yasin Malik will be sentenced by a special NIA court today in connection with the 2017 J&K terror fund case. The NIA has demanded that the JKLF leader be sentenced to death. Meanwhile, former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has expressed his displeasure over Yasin Malik’s sentence. Imran Khan, who openly backed Yasin Malik, tweeted at the government of India for his “fascist tactics” against Yasin. Imran said Yasin was being illegally sentenced on fake terrorism charges.
