The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Education (GBSHSE) will announce the results of the Board of Secondary Education Semester 12 examinations for 2022 today, May 21 at 5pm. Once released, students will be able to check it out on the official website at Students will need their admission cards to check HSSC results as it contains the registration number. This year, a total of 18,201 students took the Goa HSSC examination which included 8,925 males and 9,276 female candidates.

Students will have to have a score of at least 33 or higher to pass the exams. For candidates who fail, they will likely be allowed to sit for the supplementary exam at a later time. Chairman Bhagrath Shetty said the tests were conducted across 18 centers and 72 sub-centres in the state.

Step 1: Download the Digilocker app on your phone from Google Playstore or Apple App Store. You can also visit the official website of

Step 2: Register with your mobile number, name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID and Aadhar number

Step 3: Now, create a password and click submit.

Step 4: Log in with your required information

Step 5: Now, click on the Goa panel under the Education tab

Step 7: Enter your Aadhaar card number and the result will appear on your screen.

After receiving the score of 12 from the Goa board, students are to check all the details on the mark sheet including the spelling of their names, parents names, score, names of subjects and application number. In the event of a discrepancy, students must report it to the school authorities or the board of directors immediately.

The HSSC or Twelfth Examination was held in April this year. GBSHSE has divided the Board exams for Class 12 into two parts this time. HSSC First Semester Examinations have been held from December 2021 to January 2022. The final result will include the first term, second term marks, as well as the practical grade after which the merit list will be issued.

Last year, as many as 99.40 per cent of students passed the HSSC exam. Of the total pass percentage, a total of 99.66 percent of students had graduated in the commerce track, 99.68 percent in the sciences and 99.51 percent in the professional track. The results were announced on July 18, 2021, based on an alternative method of assessment as tests could not be performed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The Board followed the 30:30:40 method, under which, 30 percent weight was given to class 10 marks, 30 percent to class 11 marks, and 40 percent weight to class 12 internal assessment marks.
