‘HAR GHAR TIRANGA’: Senior officials set for Tiranga Transit Tour

To ensure proper implementation and monitoring of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ programme, where the state government has set a target of tri-color raise in around 4.5 crores of households, the Uttar Pradesh Urban Development and Poverty Alleviation Department has appointed its senior officials with the ‘Tiranga Crossing Tour’. This tour will be conducted by senior officials, who have been assigned areas, from August 11 to 14. During this tour, these officials will supervise the implementation of the program in the areas designated for them.

As per the guidelines, these officials, including the Principal Secretary to officials with the rank of Private Secretary, are expected to organize “grant events” for the “Har Ghar Tiranga” program in their assigned area by coordinating with the relevant local authority officials, and to review the implementation of the program and thereafter also expected Submit their reports to the Principal Secretary, Urban Development Division.

While Principal Secretary, Uttar Pradesh Department of Urban Development, Amrit Abhijat, has been assigned to the districts of Kanooj, Firuzabad, Agra, Mathura and Gautam Buddha Nagar for the “Tiranga Crossing Tour”. The Minister of Urban Development, Anil Kumar, Parabanke, Ayodhya, Basti, Saint Kabir Nagar, Gorakhpur, Kushinagar and Lucknow has been appointed.

Private Secretary Sunil Kumar, Rai Bareilly, Pratapgarh, Fatehpur, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Banda and Chitrakot are allotted. Other officials, who have been assigned areas, include the Special Secretaries for Urban Development, the Director of the Urban Local Authority Directorate; Joint Managing Director, Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam; Suda Director, Additional Director Suda, Additional Director Training of the Urban Local Authority Directorate.

In total, 75 districts were assigned to 13 officials to cover the period from August 11 to August 14 and supervise activities. The government celebrates Independence Week from August 11 to August 17, while the Har Ghar Teranga program is held from August 13 to 5.
