From Shikhar Dhawan to Rahul Dravid, Team India join the ‘hey’ trend

Team India members joined the ‘hello’ trend on social media with a video of them saluting the cam that went viral. Shekhar Dhawan took to Instagram to share his video of leading several members including head coach Rahul Dravid joining his players in the fun video.

Shreyas Ayer, Ishaan Kishan, Yosvendra Chahal, Ravindra Jadeja, Shopman Gill and Mohamed Siraj also appear in the short clip that was filmed before the team’s departure from England to the Caribbean.

More than anyone else, cricket social media was pleased to see Rahul Dravid, who has been a reserved personality on social media, part of the video.

The mood in the camp is clearly high after the 2-1 T20I and ODI win in England. India beat the hosts in their last ODI match on Sunday to conclude their tour of England and will now appear in three ODI matches and five T20I matches in the West Indies.

While Shekhar Dhawan has been chosen as the lead for the ODI series, Rohit Sharma will be joining the T20Is squad who will act as another bit of preparation ahead of the T20 World Cup in October. Former India captain Virat Kohli was rested during the tour, but is expected to be part of the squad for the tournament to be held in Australia.

The tour kicks off with their first international match in Trinidad on Friday, July 22nd.
