Elon Musk tweets ‘scandal name’ after report on sexual harassment claim | World News

A few hours after the report that SpaceX paid an employee $ 250,000 to settle a sexual harassment claim against company founder Elon Musk, the billionaire said the attack against him should be viewed “through a political lens.” Without directly referring to the Insider report, the Tesla CEO asserted that nothing would stop him from “fighting for a better future and your freedom of speech.”

Musk tweeted: “The attacks against me should be viewed through a political lens – this is their standard (slut) playbook – but nothing will stop me from fighting for a better future and your freedom of speech.”

According to an insider report, the rocket launcher paid for an unknown flight attendant in spaceX corporate jet as a contract employee in 2018. The attendant alleged that the billionaire investor had exposed himself and proposed to him in the private room of the aircraft during the flight. Instead of an erotic massage, she proceeded to buy a horse for the attendant, the report states, citing interviews and documentation, which included a declaration signed by a friend of the attendant to support her claim.

Responding to followers, Musk tweeted: “For the record, those wild allegations are completely false.”

He quoted and tweeted his own tweet from last year, where he suggested calling it ‘elongate’ if ever he had a scam.

“Ultimately, we use Elongate as a scam name.

Musk’s suggestion to look at the allegations “from a political lens” is made in a clear reference to his altered voting preference. Earlier this week, the richest man in the world said he had previously voted for Democrats but now for Republicans.

“I voted for the Democrats in the past because they were (mostly) a kind party, but they have become a divisive and hateful party, so I can no longer support them and vote for the Republicans,” he tweeted.

“Now, watch their dirty tactics unfold against me,” said Musk, who admitted to buying Twitter Inc.
