The water level in the Yamuna River is decreasing, causing a major water crisis in the national capital, Delhi. Water supply has been affected in some parts of South Delhi, including North Delhi, North West Delhi, West Delhi and Delhi Cantt. The Delhi Water Board has written to the Irrigation Department of Haryana urgently releasing 150 cusecs of water in the Yamuna River. Meanwhile, the alleged game between the Delhi government and the Haryana government has exploded. Delhi alleges that Haryana is not releasing its share of water.
