With the digital push targeting youth ahead of the successful Uttar Pradesh elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wanted his ministers to take his government’s initiatives for youth-aware startups. The new mission – New India For Young India – has already been launched in Gujarat, where Union Minister Rajiv Chandrasekhar has visited universities to tell students about the government’s programs and plans. Chandrasekhar is on a two-day visit to the state to meet students and is scheduled to visit four universities during the trip. The program aims to create buzz among students about new opportunities such as space and startups, and Chandrasekhar, a former chip designer, is expected to spark interest among young people to take up entrepreneurship.
Hearing a plea for pre-emptive bail, Justice Surya Kant, who chairs the panel of two Supreme Court justices, noted how some defendants re-committed crimes after being granted bail. Recalling a “personal experience,” the judge said he had some farmland with a tube well. One day, he said, the caregiver called and told him that some of the copper wires extending to the tube well had been stolen. “I told him nothing could be done – go and file a report with the local police. I went to court and he went to file the complaint. He said [the police] It is the land of so-and-so and the theft occurred. SHO’s first remark said, “What do I do? Yeh jo chor hai, Isco Parson court to release Kia Tha. Isliye karli chori isne aate hi (the court only released him the day before, so he committed theft as soon as he got out).” The seat had a chuckle before denying the required rest.
