Hisar’s psychologist Anil Pannikkar met Sunday to deliver a lecture on ‘How to study and live life’ at Maharishi Dayananda University’s Department of Economics.

The head of the economic department, Himmat Singh Ratnu, has also invited psychologists, but the vice-chancellor of the university, Prof. Rajbir Singh, has refused to allow Pannikkar to meet with the university’s faculty and non-faculty president, alleging that he has tarnished the university’s reputation.

Speaking to MDU Teachers Union president Vikas Siwach, psychologists have filed several complaints against former VC BK Punia and a dozen other employees.

“We have written to VC Professor Rajbir Singh,” Sivach said, “not allowing the entry of such a person who is constantly harming the image of the university staff.”

Pannikkar has written to Rohtak SP Uday Singh Meena and demanded police protection to visit the MDU on Sunday.

Vikas Siwach had threatened me in public. I request you to file a case against them, ”Pannicker added.

HOD Himmat Singh Ratnu of the Department of Economics is a psychologist by Pannicker who invited him to the workshop due to his skill.
