Congress chief Warring expels leader for anti-party activities

The move comes two days after Congress chief Waring ousted Harchand Kaur, a former MLA of Waring MLA and Mehla Kalan constituency Hulka in charge of anti-party activities.

PPRC president Amarinder Singh Raja Waring on Saturday expelled Ajeeb Singh Ratolan from the party’s primary membership, who was in talks with Congress leaders for his unruly and anti-party activities.

He was in charge of the Hulka of the Dirba constituency.

“Continuing a zero tolerance policy of unrest, Aajib Singh Ratolan has been expelled from the primary membership of the Congress party for his anti-party activities,” he tweeted.

“The Congress party ticketed them three times but they never won because of their inability. He said he did not see us when the party needed him now in this time of hardship.

Ratolan lost the Punjab Assembly elections in 2012, 2017 and 2022 from the Dirba constituency.

The move comes two days after Warring ousted Harchand Kaur, a former MLA and Mehla Kalan constituency’s Hulka in charge of anti-party activities. He was the party’s candidate in the state assembly elections on February 20.
