Novak Djokovic displayed some exemplary tennis skills in his quarter-final match against Janic Sinner at Wimbledon on Tuesday night. The Serb came from behind after dropping the first two sets to close out the match 5-7, 2-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-2 and will now face Britain’s Cameron Norrie in the semi-finals. However, apart from his breathtaking tennis, his sportsmanship during the match was greatly appreciated by the fans who were uplifted.

The incident took place in the fourth set when Djokovic was building momentum in the contest with some powerful forehand performances. At that point Djokovic delivered a clever drop shot near the net, forcing Sinner to run fast and reach the ball. However, while doing so, the young man lost his balance and also felt pain in his foot as he fell to the ground.

Tumble Sinner writhes in pain as he clutches his foot before help arrives on the court. Djokovic was also quick to react as he immediately stepped over the net and checked that all was well on his end with a sinner.
