Board Exam Results To Be Uploaded on, Websites, Apps, Umang, Digilocker

The CBSE assessment process is “on time” and the results of the Board exams for Grades 10 and 12 are likely to be announced in the last week of July, a senior Board official told The Indian Express.

The results will be available at and also on the Umang app. Umang (or Unified Mobile Application for New Age Governance) is a mobile application by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology for accessing central and state government services. “Students will also be able to access their DigiLocker score sheets immediately,” the officer added.

The officer insisted that the CSBE results were not delayed. “This is a completely wrong perception. Look at 2020, the results were released at that time much later than July. We announced our schedule much earlier and are on our way to release the results by the last week of July,” the officer added.

This is the first year that CBSE has conducted two Board exams for grade 12 students. For the 2021-22 school year, CBSE has introduced a bifurcated format with two periods: First term board exams were held in November and December of last year, while second term exams are scheduled to start in April 26.

The decision was made after board exams for the 2020-21 academic year were canceled due to the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic. Students were assessed based on their scores in past exams, practical exams, and internal assessments. However, next year, the board has decided to restore the pre-pandemic single test format from next school year, which means that it is unlikely that the board exams for grades 10 and 12 will be split into two parts.
