Fitness enthusiasts have a recent trend to replace sugar with healthier alternatives such as jaggery and honey because they are natural sweeteners and have the added health benefits of non-sugar. Many people like to start their day with a tea sweetened with jaggery. According to Ayurveda, this is a faulty combination.
