It is reported that the RAF personnel have been deployed around the grave of Afzal Khan in the Satara district of Maharashtra amid ongoing political controversy over Aurangzeb’s mausoleum and Varanasi court hearing in Varanasi court.

Satara Police Superintendent Ajay Kumar Bansal said Afzal Khan’s tomb has been a restricted area since 2005. This is in line with Section 144 of the CrPC. An additional police force has been deployed in the area.
