The acclaimed actor’s direction is not limited to his profession, which is acting, but it seems to be present in everything he does. He recently tried his hand at cricket as part of the promotions for his upcoming movie Lal Singh Chadha.

Aamir faced Ravi Shastri, who criticized his foot movements. Addressing Ravi, Aamir joked, “Ravi, I am a little disappointed that you didn’t like my foot movement. You probably didn’t see Lagan. Now watch me again. I think every team will be lucky to have me. Recommend me, my friend, it will be fun.”

Laal Singh Chadha is directed by Advit Chandan and stars Kareena Kapoor. It’s an Indian remake of the Oscar-winning movie Forrest Gump by Robert Zemeckis, which itself was an adaptation of the 1986 novel of the same name by Winston Groom.

The original film follows the titular character Hanks, a mentally retarded but kind man, who is deeply involved and affects important events in modern American history.

Director Chandan had earlier directed Aamir in the 2017 Secret Superstar. The film also features Naga Chaitanya and Mona Singh in the cast.

The film was produced by Aamir, Kiran Rao and Radhika Chaudhry. Lal Singh Chadha will be released on August 11th.
