21-year-old US woman gang raped in Pakistan hotel

Pakistani police said, on Tuesday, that a 21-year-old American woman was gang-raped by two men in Pakistan’s Punjab province.

The incident took place at a hotel in the hill station ‘Fort Monroe’ in the DG Khan district, about 500 kilometers from here, on July 17 when the victim – a vlogger/Tiktoker who runs a Facebook page – was visiting the venue with her social media. According to the police official, the woman holding a tourist visa for Pakistan has been living in the country for seven months.

The flight information report, a copy of which is available to PTI, said the victim on Sunday visited Fort Monroe and did a vlog with Sebra and his friend Azan Khosa.

She claimed in an FIR report: “We stayed in a hotel in Fort Monroe where both gang suspects raped me and they also videotaped my extortion.”

The Military Border Police has already arrested Sipra and is conducting raids to arrest the other suspect mentioned in the FIR recorded under Sections 376 and 292b of the Pakistan Penal Code.

The police also conducted the forensic medical examination of the girl.

Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz took note of the incident and ordered the Punjab Police Chief to personally monitor the case.

The Prime Minister said: “The suspects will be punished exemplary in accordance with the law, and justice will be served to the victim.”
