2.5kg heroin, ₹5 lakh drug money recovered with arrest of 3 in Ferozepur

A team of smugglers is cracked down with the arrest of the three and the seizure of 2.5 kg of heroin. 5 Lakhs Drugs Money, Sunday Arms and Ammunition Collection.

A checkpoint was set up at Madhre village on a tip-off by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Ferozepur, Charanjit Singh Sohal.

The accused have been identified as Gurjit Singh (26) of Khilchi Jaiidi Village, Sandeep Singh (25) of Khai Femeke and Sagar (25) of Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

He stumbles on his bike (PB05 AN9381). 2.5 kg of heroin was found when police searched. He has 5 lakhs drug money, two small computerized weighing machines, a country-built .30 bore pistol, three magazines and 15 cartridges of 7.62mm weapons.

The three have been booked under Section 21/61 and 85 of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act and Section 25/54 and 59 of the Arms Act, SSP said. He said the three accused were history sheets.

The brothers were arrested with 300 grams of heroin, weapons

Ferozepur Police’s Narcotics Control Unit arrested two brothers with 300 grams of heroin. 50,000 Drugs Money, .32 Bore Pistols and Three Magazines.

SSP Sohal said the accused Aman Kumar and Raman Kumar were residents of Canal Colony.

Aman is already facing charges of murder and attempted murder, while Raman was also booked in the NDPS case last year.
