Delhi on Tuesday reported 1,414 COVID-19 cases, about 31 percent more than the day before, although the positivity rate has dropped to 5.97 percent, according to data released by the city’s health department. One death occurred due to the disease.
With these new cases, the total COVID-19 death toll in the national capital has risen to 18,87,050, while the death toll has reached 26,176. On Monday, Delhi reported 1,076 cases, with a positive rate of 6.42 per cent. On Sunday, there were 1,485 cases and no deaths from the disease, while the positivity rate stabilized at 4.89 percent.
On Saturday, the city recorded 1,520 cases of coronavirus and one death from the disease, while the positivity rate was 5.10 percent. Friday saw 1,607 cases of COVID-19 and two deaths, while the positivity rate was 5.28 percent. A total of 23,694 COVID-19 tests were conducted in the city on Monday, according to the latest health bulletin.
